Does it work if my site isn't on WordPress?

The crawl, the health score, Site Health and the fix list work on any website. Pushing fixes to the live site needs WordPress, with the RankLocker Connector plugin installed.

How does RankLocker connect to my website?

Through the RankLocker Connector plugin. You pair it with an 8-character code that's locked to your site and expires in 15 minutes, so there's no long key to copy. After that, the plugin updates itself.

Does it build backlinks?

No. It reports on your domain rank, referring domains, and nofollow and broken links, so you can see whether other sites vouch for yours. It doesn't build links.

Does it submit my pages to Google?

No. Search Console is connected read only, so RankLocker doesn't submit pages for indexing. It uses Search Console to find every page on your site and to see the real searches behind each one.
