Questions about google business profile.
Can RankLocker post to my Google Business Profile?
No. It doesn't post updates to your profile or change your hours or categories. It can push your description, phone number and website to the live profile, and it tracks the calls, clicks, direction requests and searches the profile brings in.
Do I have to give you my Google password?
No. You connect by signing in with your own Google account, or your agency signs in once and picks your profile. Nobody types in or shares your password.
What if I have more than one location?
You can connect several locations per business and mark one as the main location. The profile numbers in the monthly report cover the main location, so pick the one that matters most.
Does it show my Google reviews?
Yes. The profile section of the monthly report includes a reputation strip, and five-star Google reviews can be turned into posts for your social accounts.
What does tracking my profile link actually do?
It adds tracking to the website link on your profile in one click, so visits from the profile are credited to it instead of showing up as direct traffic. If you ever want it off, the undo puts the link back exactly as it was.
