Commission tracking
Commission tracking in JobTracker is sales commission software for home-services and construction companies. It calculates sales and gross-profit commissions, splits, bonuses, draws and clawbacks from each job, runs every payout through an approval, and shows each person what they earned in My Pay. Then it hands you payroll-ready numbers, with Gusto integration and a Wave hours report.
Every screen in English and Spanish · Works on phone, tablet and desktop · Plans start at $495 a month
The problem
Sound familiar?
Commissions live in a spreadsheet only one person understands. A split between two reps, a draw against next month, a clawback on a cancelled job, a bonus for the PM: each one is a formula someone typed by hand. Then a job cost changes after the sale, and the number everyone agreed on is wrong. Nobody catches it until a rep does.
Your best rep thinks he's being shorted. Your office manager spends payday defending math she didn't write. You lose trust with the people who bring in the work, and you're never quite sure you paid out profit you actually made. Pay should be the easiest promise you keep. Instead, it's the one you dread every pay period.
Where it costs you today:
commissions paid on margin that changed after the job closed
draws and clawbacks tracked on paper and quietly forgotten
office time spent rebuilding the commission spreadsheet every pay period
What it does
Sell the job
Set sales and gross-profit percentages, rate tiers by lead source, team splits and payout timing. JobTracker calculates each commission for you, with no spreadsheet to maintain.
Pay bonuses to PMs and techs, track referral commissions, and handle draws and clawbacks inside the same engine. Everything a rep is owed, or owes back, sits in one place. Nothing gets forgotten.
Pay standard commission plans or red-line overage, a share of every dollar sold above the lowest price. Set it for the company and override it per rep. Owners and salaried staff can be marked as not receiving commission.
Every payout goes through an approval workflow, so a manager signs off before money moves. A commission forecast shows what you'll owe before payday arrives. No surprise payouts and no disputes after the fact.
Each person opens My Pay to see their hours, commissions, bonuses and draws. Reps see exactly what they earned without walking into the office to ask. Nobody has to wait for a printout.
Run sales contests on projects sold, sales volume, sold-to-installed or best margin, with cash, percentage or prize rewards that push to payroll. The leaderboard weights margin by job size, so big jobs count fairly.

With JobTracker
What changes
A rep sells a job, and the commission is calculated from that job's numbers, split and tiered by your rules.
Your manager reviews the commission forecast and approves the payouts in one pass before payday, instead of rebuilding a spreadsheet the night before.
Your top rep checks My Pay on his phone and sees every commission, bonus and draw, with no questions for the office.
Pay is payroll ready for Gusto, the Wave hours report is already built, and the yearly 1099 list is waiting at year end.
If nothing changes
Every commission mistake costs you twice: once in the money, and again in the trust of the people who sell your work. Left on a spreadsheet, the errors keep compounding with every new rep and every new plan.

FAQ
Straight answers
Can it handle splits between two reps?
Yes. Team splits are part of the commission engine, along with sales and gross-profit percentages, rate tiers by lead source and payout timing. Each person's share is calculated automatically. Different reps can earn on different tiers depending on where the lead came from.
Does JobTracker run payroll?
No. JobTracker prepares payroll, it doesn't run it. Commissions, bonuses and hours are payroll ready through the Gusto integration, and there's an hours report for Wave Payroll plus a yearly list of 1099 contractors. Your payroll provider still runs payroll.
What is red-line overage pay?
It's a commission model where the rep earns a share of every dollar sold above the lowest allowed price. You set it for the company, override it per rep, or use standard commission plans instead. It rewards reps for holding price instead of discounting to close.
Can reps see their own commissions?
Yes. My Pay and the payroll portal show each person their hours, commissions, bonuses and draws. The see financials permission keeps job cost, margin and other people's pay hidden from anyone who shouldn't see them.
Where does the sale data come from?
From the sales pipeline. Leads carry the salesperson and lead source, and contracts signed or deals won in GoHighLevel become jobs automatically, so commissions start from the same record the job does. There's no separate sales sheet to keep in sync.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $495 a month, with a discount when you pay yearly. Book a demo and we'll run a sample of your own commission plan through it. Bring your current plan, even if it only lives in a spreadsheet.
