Marketing reporting

A marketing reporting dashboard you'll actually read, wins first and dollars last

Marketing reporting in RankLocker is a monthly report built for local service business owners, not marketers. It opens with this month's wins in plain English, then shows rankings, the Google profile, the map, AI assistants and where leads came from, and ends with what marketing earned in dollars. Every number is labelled measured, derived or estimated, on a private share link.

Run every day on real local service businesses · Every connection is a sign-in, no keys to paste · Plans from $297 a month

The problem

Sound familiar?

Why do marketing reports never mention a job?

Every month a report shows up full of impressions, sessions and bounce rate. It's pages of charts, and none of them says how many calls came in, which towns found you or what you got for your money. You skim it, close it, and go back to work knowing no more than you did before you opened it.

So you pay and hope. You can't tell which part of your marketing is working, so you can't tell what to cut. And when someone asks whether it's worth it, you don't have an answer, because the report was written for a marketer, not for the person signing the check.

Where it costs you today:

reports full of impressions that never say where the calls came from

dollar figures with no way to tell measured from guessed

paying for marketing every month without knowing which part works

What it does

Know what's working

What does marketing reporting in RankLocker do?

Your highlights come first

An AI-written opener with three to five numbered wins and a momentum ring like "Climbing" or "On a roll". It only uses numbers from the report and never mentions fees.

Rankings in words you get

Keywords grouped as #1, #2 to 5, #6 to 10 and #11 to 20, then and now, with a weekly chart, your biggest climbers, "New on page one" and your #1 keywords.

Where your leads came from

HighLevel contacts grouped by channel, like Google Ads, your Google profile, organic search, AI, Bing and referrals, with "not recorded" shown honestly and the pages that brought leads in.

Your profile, map and AI answers

Calls and direction requests from your Google profile, a real map of where you rank in the map pack, and a monthly sample of real questions asked to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews.

Dollars last, every one labelled

The money path runs from searches to visits to leads to jobs to revenue, with a marketing profit and loss. Every figure is labelled measured, derived or estimated, with real job revenue from JobTracker where it's linked.

A private link, always current

View this month or the last 3, 6 or 12 months. Share a no-login link with a view count, revoke it any time, and get the report by email every month.

With RankLocker

What changes

What does reading your marketing report feel like?

Early in the month, an email arrives with your report. The first thing you see is three numbered wins, in plain English, using only real numbers.

You scroll to the rankings and see your biggest climbers by name, and which searches are new on page one since last month.

The leads section shows which channel each lead came from, so you finally know which marketing to keep and which to cut.

At the bottom, you see what marketing earned, each dollar figure marked measured or estimated, and the next opportunity to go after.

If nothing changes

Without a report you can read, you keep paying for marketing on faith. The part that works never gets more, the part that doesn't never gets cut, and next year looks like this one.

FAQ

Straight answers

Questions about marketing reporting.

Is it a file I have to download?

No. It's a live page in your portal and on a private share link, always current, plus a monthly email. There's nothing to download or attach, and you can view this month or the last 3, 6 or 12 months.

Can I share it with my partner or office manager?

Yes. Create a private link anyone can open without logging in, copy it, and revoke it whenever you want. You'll see how many times it's been viewed, so you know your partner actually read it.

Are the dollar figures real?

Each one is labelled measured, derived or estimated, so you know which is which. If you use JobTracker, the marketing profit and loss uses your actual job revenue instead of estimates, and keyword values use your real job averages.

Does it include Google Ads and Analytics?

Yes. The Google Ads section shows spend, conversions and cost per conversion against the previous 30 days, every campaign, plus searches that cost money and never converted and searches that did. With Analytics connected, you also see engaged visits and conversions.

Does it tell me what to do next?

Yes. The report ends with what to go after next: demand your site isn't touching yet, searches with no page to land on, and services competitors list that you don't. Any uplift is stated as at least, never a promise.
